  • We will be Judged by Jesus words.

We will be Judged by Jesus words. Let us not forget to let no corrupt speech proceed out of our mouths…we will be judged for idle words. Mat 12:33-37 ASV Either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by its fruit. (34) Ye offspring of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. (35) The good man out of his good treasure brings forth good things: and the evil man out of his evil treasure brings forth evil things. (36) And I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. (37) For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. I have an open confession, I cuss a little, that's what I tell people I meet as an electrician, I know Jesus but I cuss a little: though I do not lie, or blaspheme the Holy or God. Jesus said, either make the tree good or make the tree corrupt. You are either known as one that walks the walks and talks the talk, or you are known as a windbag, full of other people’s teaching besides Jesus the Christ. Many say, words to be heard in order to be made popular or rich or to impress humans not God. How can you make the tree good? 1Pe 3:21-22 ASV which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ; (22) who is on the right hand of God, having gone into heaven; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. Become a new Creature by being baptized: Act 2:38-39 ASV And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (39) For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him. Col 2:11-13 ASV in whom ye were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ; (12) having been buried with him in baptism, wherein ye were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. (13) And you, being dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, you, I say, did he make alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses; 2Co 5:17-18 ASV Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new. (18) But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation; How many times you let corrupt speech come out of your mouth? Or how many times you talked bad about someone with or without them present? Or spread gossip without fact checking the sources? Some willing to justify their gossip ring, turn a prayer concern into Gossip or a so-called prayer list? Y'all pray for sister, she been having adultery with the deacons again… Jesus said, we will give an account of every idle word. Meaning words are more than just thoughts, they are the intentions of the heart being expressed in words. Our hearts have got to be cleansed and made Holy to be Holy. Otherwise, we are just flesh trying to be Holy without Jesus the Christ. Will you be baptized for the remission of your sins and become a new creature by being buried and raised with Jesus Christ in faith? Yes, or no? If you already been baptized, then do you still believe in your baptism? Yes, or no? Listen to what was written to the baptized Christians in Rome: Rom 10:8-11 ASV But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach: (9) because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved: (10) for with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (11) For the scripture saith, whosoever believes on him shall not be put to shame. Father, please restore us to our faith in your only Fathered Son Jesus Christ of Nazareth, please renew us again just as if we were born a new creature again, and please meet our souls deepest needs and heal our ugly, may they who never called on you in baptism do so, in Jesus of Nazareth's name amen.

  • Love God first your nieghbor second...

Loving Jesus and your neighbor… In Mark 12:29-31, Jesus said, The First of all commandments is Hear O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord and you will love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all of your soul, and with all your mind, and with all of your strength, this is the first commandment. The second is like, namely this you shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these. Gal 5:14, for all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this, you shall love your neighbor as yourself. James 2:8, if you fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, you shall love your neighbor as yourself, you do well. So then the most import command is to love God then to love your neighbor. However, is God not your neighbor? Is He not near every one of us every second of the day? So, love God as yourself and all those you come in contact with as well. If you were God and then the relationship changed, then would you be happy with your behavior? Then there is that old question that Jesus answered in the parable of the good Samaritan, who is my neighbor? It is whomever you are in contact with and are able to help. Your enemy could be your neighbor, your ex-husband could be your neighbor, your brother could be your neighbor, your neighbor could be your neighbor, etc. So, treat God as good as you would yourself, if you were God, and the way some people act they think they are God. Would you grumble and complain about keeping your laws and statues? Just food for thought… Father, we offer you all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength, in Jesus of Nazareth’s name, we pray Amen.

  • Rom 2:13, for not the hearers of the law are just before God but the doers of the law shall be justified

    1. Are you worried about other people and their sins? Psalms 1:1, blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners not sits in the seat of the scornful. Are you trying to stop other people from sinning? We are told we are blessed if we do not stand in the way of sinners. You can give them God’s word but we cannot prevent them from sinning. 2. Are you listening to gossips fill you in about the horrible things they have done? 1 Tim 5:13, …and withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house, and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not. These people that are always sharing the news of what is going on are doing nothing but sinning against God and spreading news that they ought not. 3. Are you always in a state of chaos and having to quarrel, fight, and struggle for peace and spiritual safety between them and you? Col 3:13, …forbearing one another and forgiving one another if any man has a quarrel against any, even as Christ forgave so also do you. Did Jesus say forgive them they know not what they are doing on the cross? 1 Pet 4:15, but let none of you suffer as a murderer or as a thief or as an evildoer or as a busybody in other men’s matters. 4. Are you involved in other people’s affairs? If so then stop and mind your own business. Get your own house in order and fear God. Jesus said, And why do you behold the mote that is in your brother’s eye but do not consider the beam that is in your own eye? Or how will you say to your brother, let me pull out the mote out of your eye and behold a beam is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of your own eye and then you shall see clearly how to cast the mote out of your brother’s eye Matt 7:3-5. 5. Are you trying to punish the evildoer? Rom 12:9, dearly beloved avenge not yourselves but rather give place unto wrath for it is written, vengeance is mine I will repay says the Lord. We are to pray for our enemies and overcome evil with good, not render unto them punishment. Did Jesus die for the wicked that believe or just the righteous that believe? 6. Are you trying to convert the same people over and over and they will not respond to the words of God? Jesus says, Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet and turn again and rend you Matt 7:6. Jesus said in John 8:44, there is no truth in the devil some people would rather believe the ways of this world than to bring their sins to the light of the cross of Christ through repentance and obedience to God. Rom 2:7-10, to them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality: eternal life, but unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish upon every soul of man that does evil of the Jew first and also of the gentile but glory honor and peace to every man that works good to the Jew first and also of the Gentiles Father help us get our houses in order and meet our souls deepest needs, heal our souls wounds and may we prosper and be in health as our souls prospers, in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

  • Who do you obey?

Romans 6:16, “know you not that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey, whether sin unto death or of obedience unto righteousness?” We all have been talked into doing something stupid or irrational by our friends, family, or co-workers. We all have listened to the wrong person, at the wrong time, with the wrong ideas and thought yea that sounds good. There is a worldly wisdom, there are worldly principles, there are worldly philosophies, there are worldly religions, or false religions, Jesus said “there shall arise false Christs, false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders insomuch that if it were possible they shall deceive the elect” Matt 24:24. This passage tells us plainly that we will sin if we follow the wrong “voice” or teaching or preaching or wisdom or philosophy. Jesus said there would be people with great signs that are false Christ and prophets. So how do you know you are following the Real Jesus Christ that died on the cross was buried for three days and rose? Simply this, by reading the New Testament of Christ. The New Testament of Christ has been bound and sealed in Heaven. It is the same for every man. God does not preach two messages that would make Him the author of confusion. God has only one agreement between God and every man that is mediated through the redeeming work of Jesus Christ who has done all the work needed to reconcile with God. We need not a new revelation, we do not need a new word from God, what we need to renew our minds with the already spoken and recorded word of God found in the pages of the New Testament of Christ. Jesus warned us about false Christs, false prophets, and also said this of the religious leaders called the Pharisees, “every plant which my heavenly Father has not planted shall be rooted up, let them alone, they be blind leaders of the blind and if the blind lead, both shall fall into the ditch” Matt 15:13-14. So Jesus let us, …and be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of our mind, that we may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will from You our God, in Jesus name may it be so.

  • Jesus will save to the uttermost...

Hebrews 7:25-26, wherefore he is able to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them. For such a high priest became us, who is Holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners and made higher than the heavens. Jesus is all anyone will ever need. He said in John that He is the bread of life and no one that comes to Him will hunger. He says in Matthew 6 that if you seek Him and His kingdom first you will have food, clothing, or the necessities of life. In Romans we are told that nothing can separate us from the love of God, not man, not angels, not any created thing can separate us from God and His Love. Jesus told the woman at the well in John 3, that she could have asked and He would have gave her Living Water. Jesus is the all sufficient, all sustaining, all powerful, all knowing, ever present, God and Savior of mankind. God rejoices over any sinner that repents. Jesus said that He did not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance. Jesus became a man and died on the cross in order to make a way of salvation to those that realize they are lost apart from God. Jesus said that unless you forgive then you cannot be forgiven. Jesus said unless you become like a little child then you cannot enter the kingdom of God. Jesus said unless you are born of the water and the Spirit you cannot enter into the kingdom. In Romans 8, the Holy Spirit reveals to us that Jesus intercedes for us and also that the Holy Spirit of promise intercedes for us with groaning that cannot be uttered. We have two members of All Knowing who are making intercession for us. In 2 Peter we read about Jesus providing everything you need for life and godliness. When you put Him first, we will have the physical needs met and the blood of Jesus will cleanse us from all past and present sins as we faithfully learn to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. Jesus is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me and He has always been the faithful Lord that promises to never leave us or forsake us. At times in my life, I have turned my back on God and followed after the wisdom of this world, and principles that work rebellion. I have followed my imagination and voices of the world and called it Jesus. Look at Mary the mother of Jesus, she was righteous and chosen to raise the Lord, but God did not talk to her. Instead, an angel spoke to her. There are many deceiving spirits and seducing spirits out there trying to tell people their thoughts, ideas, doctrines, and teachings but the Word of God had been bound and sealed in earth and heaven and will never change. The only word we can trust is written in the New Testament. Let us continue to seek Jesus and to have a it is written vocabulary or a thus has the Lord said. Father we pray your will be done and not ours, help us to trust you and your decisions for our life, by trusting that the Holy Spirit of promise is interceding as well as our Savior Jesus according to your scripture in Romans 8:26,34. You are all we need, please teach us to trust in You, may it be so in Jesus name.

  • In the sentence of life the Devil may be a comma, but DO NOT let him be the PERIOD!

1 Cor 10:13, “there has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able, but will with the temptation also make a way of escape, that you are able to bear it” 1 Cor 10:20-21, “you cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of devils, you cannot be a partaker of the Lord’s Table and the table of demons” Eph 4:27, “neither give place to the devil” 2 Tim 2:25-26, “and the servant of the Lord must not strive but be gentile unto all men able to teach, patient, in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves if God perhaps would give them repentance unto the acknowledging of the truth and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil who are taken captive by him at his will” James 4:7, “submit yourselves therefore unto God resist the devil and he will flee from you” 1 Pet 5:8, “be sober be vigilant because you adversary the devil as a roaring lion walks about seeking whom he may devour” How many of us are fallen into a trial or temptation and are snared by the devil? We know that God does not tempt us and that we are drawn away by our own lust, however look at the promise in 1 Cor 10:13, there has no temptation taken you… notice the temptation has taken hold…; but God is faithful who will not let the “snare” be more than you can handle, but will make a way of escape. We often get ourselves into snares because of following our will but whatever snare you find yourself in, God is not allowing that snare to overpower you and will provide a way out. We are not to give place to the devil, but we have we have to trust In Jesus to not let our snare be more than we can handle and to provide a way of escape. Notice in 2 Tim 2:26, we have to recover ourselves from the snare of satan. God makes it bearable and will provide a way out but we have to be the one that works out our own salvation. Jesus will do the heavy lifting and will help us but we have to walk in the narrow way and find the way of escape. As we begin to renew our mind and submit back to Christ and His will the devil will flee. After recovering ourselves from the snare of satan then we have to keep watch and walk in the spirit because the devil is looking for an opportunity to eat us for lunch. May the Lord Jesus ease our burdens of sin, and make clear the way of escape, and remove every form of hindrance to recovering ourselves from the snare of satan and deliver us from evil ones and temptations and help us to submit to His will and resist the devil by doing so, may it be so in Christ name.

  • Kindness is difficult to give away because it keeps coming back.

Eph 6:8, “knowing that whatsoever good thing any man does, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free” Luke 14:13-14, “but when you make a feast call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind and you will be blessed for they cannot repay you for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the just” Acts 20:35, “I have showed you all things how so laboring you ought to support the weak, and to remember to words of the Lord Jesus, how He said, “it is more blessed to give than to receive”” Proverbs 19:22, “the desire of a man is his kindness and a poor man is better than a liar” Joel 2:12-13, “therefore also now says the Lord, turn you even to me with all of your heart and with fasting and with weeping and with mourning and rend your hearts and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness and repents of the evil” Psalms 117:2, “for His merciful kindness is great toward us and the truth of the Lord endures forever, Praise you the Lord.” We must be kind one to another, after all our Father and our Lord Jesus are kind to the just and the unjust. Kindness is one of the things we are told to put on (Col 3:12). Kindness usually does not cost us a thing. There is a scripture that tells us if we do good to others then we will receive the same from the Lord that we have done to others. What a promise! You cannot out give God. When you sow a kind word, or an action then it comes back to you. There is another promise, when you have a feast call those that will not be able to repay you and Jesus said you will have a reward in Heaven! What a promise. Let us be like our Father in Heaven and show mercy and kindness as opportunity allows. We pray Father for your rich kindness and thank you for your promise that you will return the good we do to others on our heads, we ask that we will forgive all those that have sinned against us because you forgave us and that we will show kindness because of your kindness through our Lord Jesus Christ, may it be so in Christ name.

  • Having truth decay... Brush up on your Bible...

Rom 10:3, for they being ignorant of God’s righteousness and going about to establish their own righteousness have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God Rom 12:2, and be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may be able to prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God Hosea 4:6, my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge because you have rejected knowledge I will also reject you that you shall be no priest to me seeing you have forgotten the law of your God I will also forget your children. Psalm 14:4, have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? Who eat up my people as bread and call not upon the Lord. Prov 2:3-6, yes if you cry after knowledge and lift up your voice for understanding, if you seek her as silver and search for her as hid treasures then shall you understand the fear of the Lord and find knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding Isa 47:10, for you have trusted in your wickedness, you have said None sees me, your wisdom and knowledge it has perverted you and you have said in your heart I and none else beside me Jesus of Nazareth has got to be your only source of truth. Jesus is the truth the life and the way no man comes to the Father but through Him, John 14:6, we must as James says, submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee James 4:6, We have got to not want from any other source, if you submit to God, then Jesus is your only source, the devil has nothing to offer you. Let us read the word of God which produces faith (Rom 10:17) or study more in-depth the teachings of Jesus Christ. Let us be renewed inwardly by the power of God, for it is written greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Father we pray you would help us to know your word and open our understanding so we can understand your ways and give us a hunger and thirst for righteousness like You and Jesus your only Son, In Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

  • Man's way leads to a hopeless end! God's way leads to an endless hope!

Prov 14:12, “there is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end thereof is are the ways of death” Jer 10:23, “O lord you know that the way of man is not within himself it is not in man that walks to direct his steps. O Lord correct me but with your judgment not in your anger unless you bring me to nothing” Psalms 118:81, “my soul faints for salvation but I hope in your word” Lam 3:26, “it is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord” Psalms 78:7, “that they might set their hope in God and not forget the works of God but keep His commandments” Psalms 130:5, “I wait for the Lord, my soul does wait and in His word do I hope” Prov 26:12, “see you a man wise in his own conceit? There is more hope of a fool than of him” Rom 8:24, “but if we hope for that we see not, then we with patience wait for it” 1 Thes 5:8, “but let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and for an helmet the hope of salvation” 1 Pet 1:13, “wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ” 1 John 3:3, “and every man that has this hope in him purifies himself even as He is pure” Man and his wisdom and ways lead to death and destruction, and men think themselves to be doing correctly. As Jerimiah said, we are not able to know how to direct our steps but have to have the instruction and training that comes from the Lord through His word and commands. A man by himself cannot change His ways for he has to have at least; instruction on how to turn to God. Look at David a man after God’s own heart, he said he faints but is waiting on God to fulfill His word. We men think that our ways are better and that we are better and trust in ourselves like the Pharisee that prayed with himself. We have to stop trying by our wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and imagination stop using our ways to saved us. What did David do? He waited, he did not save himself. When the enemy surrounds us and we look like we are going to be destroyed, do not be dismayed but hope in the Lord that never forgets and sees the hope we have in him. Let God glorify His name and you thank Him for it. While we wait on God we must try and purify ourselves from the ways of man and the wisdom from this world by renewing our mind, changing our thoughts, and bringing forth fruit unto repentance. God wants to be the Father of His children that says thank you daddy for doing this for me. Father we pray that we might turn from the hopeless ways of this world and it wisdom. We know that the wisdom that leads to salvation is foolishness in the eyes of the world, for the world says save yourself but you say wait on Me and I will save you. May those that wait on you not be ashamed, Glorify your name, In Christ name may it be so.

  • An Example of Jesus using CENI...Command, Approved Example, Necessary Inference

Biblical Authority of Direct Command, Approved Example, and Necessary Inference: Proof Text: Luke 10:25-37 Luke 10 25:37, “And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? 37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.” Outline of Argument I. What did Jesus do and teach to inherit eternal life? A. He gives an answer to a question 1. Jesus knows this is to trip Him up in doctrine but loves the man anyways a. He knows this guy wants to see Him fail and prove Himself false b. He knows he is a lawyer and does not want to change but for things to stay the same c. Jesus realizes there is hope and so loves this lawyer trying to destroy his influence 2. • Most people want to serve God, but only in an advisory capacity

Mathew 20:25-28, “but Jesus called them unto him and said you know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them and they that are great exercise authority upon them, but it shall not be so among you, but whosever will be great among you let him be your minister and whosever will be chief among you let him be your servant. Even as the Son of man came to be ministered unto but to minister and give his life a ransom for many.” Mathew 25:21, “His lord said unto him, well done you good and faithful servant you have been faithful over a few things I will make you ruler over many things enter you into the joys of your lord” 1 Cor 7:23, “you are bought with a price be you not the servants of men” Gal 1:10, “for do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I yet please men, I should not be the servant of Christ” What does it mean, when you hear in the name of Jesus? It means that Jesus will perform this thing because it is His will being ask for by his servant. Listen to the Apostle of Christ, John, “and this is the confidence that we have in him, that if ask anything according to His will He hears us and if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him”. John tells us that having access and authority through Christ only works if we ask in accordance with His will. Many people want to have the prestige and authority knowledge and law can have, but few people want to be a servant of the people. Jesus warned the Pharisees and scribes, they had a position of authority and giving of the law but they were teaching their ideas and not the commands of God. In fact, they had made void the commands of God. Brothers and sisters we should take joy in the fact that we have a Good Shepard name Jesus to help us and guide us, but let us never get lost in the usurping of His authority. Let us abide under His words and commands. Let us not get so caught up in loving our brethren or fellow man that we violate the commands of Christ. It is good to be faithful over a little, because Jesus said to him that has more will be given. The more faithful we are to Christ will the more we will be given to do. Dear Father in Heaven, we pray that you would change and keep our hearts from being led astray by the laws and teaching of men, but to do justice, love mercy, and abide in your will. Help us to know the truth and laws but apply it with your mercy as you did. May it be so In Christ name. Father forgive us your unprofitable servants and help us become and remain faithful servants, in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
