What does unconditional love look like…

What does unconditional love look like…

Joh 3:16-17 AFV For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not perish, but may have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not His Son into the world that He might judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

Heb 5:8-9 AFV Although He was a Son, yet He learned obedience from the things that He suffered; 9 And having been perfected, He became the Author of eternal salvation to all those who obey Him…

Rom 8:28-32 AFV And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose 29 Because those whom He did foreknow, He also predestinated to be conformed to the image of His own Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Now whom He predestinated, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He Who did not spare even His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how shall He not also grant us all things together with Him?

Rom 8:37-39 AFV But in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him Who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord…

Joh 15:13-14 AFV No one has greater love than this: that one lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are My friends, if you do whatever I command you… As it is written elsewhere…For in the first place, I delivered to you what I also had received: that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures; 4 And that He was buried; and that He was raised the third day, according to the Scriptures; 1Co 15:3-4 AFV

1Co 13:4-8 AFV Love is patient and is kind; love envies not, does not brag about itself, is not puffed up. 5 Love does not behave disgracefully, does not seek its own things, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil, 6 Does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. But whether there be prophecies, they shall cease; whether there be languages, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away… And now, these three remain: faith, hope and love; but the greatest of these is love. 1Co 13:13 AFV

Father please teach us the truth about unconditional love for Your children, and please grant us mercy and repentance when the truth is revealed…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
