1Co 16:13-14, “Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. (14) Let all your things be done with charity.”
In this passage, Paul tells them quit being you and be like men. He is telling the guys to man up and act like a man. What then is a man in God’s eyes?
Manhood has been under attack, there are many that do not know how to set a manly example. There are some paying mad doctors to hack up their bodies, and then say accept my expensive costume. They are mental, they are coveting after what even nature defines as wrong. They want what is contrary to the natural man, they have forgotten or perhaps never knew it is wrong to covet after what God has not given you. Covet means to fix the desire on, as I desire what God has not given me. These men want to act like girls. We are told in 1 Cor 6:9 that the effeminate will not inherit the kingdom of God and the word effeminate means soft to the touch as in sissies or men acting like girls. In 1 Tim 1:10, we are told the homosexuals will not enter into the kingdom of God. In these three passages, men are encouraged to man up and be a man, to watch (to take care of things), stand fast in the faith, and let all things be done out of love.
Holy Father help us to be men’s men doing your will and fulfill our plan and purpose in your kingdom, we renounce satan, sin, and anything else you do not approve of, please cleanse us and make us pure, in Jesus of Nazareth name may it be so.
