Revelation 21:6 - And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 - He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Revelation 15:1 - And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. 2 - And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

Revelation 15:3 - And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. - Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

Revelation 21:1-5 - And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. - And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. - And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. - And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Introduction:

Heaven is a prepared place for a prepared people. You cannot get to Heaven by mistake. You have to decide to live your life according to Jesus of Nazareth's new agreement between God and mankind called the New Testament or New Covenant of Christ. Jesus of Nazareth is the God of gods and became born of a virgin, named Mary. Jesus, the only Fathered son of the God of Creation, who also known as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jesus the only Fathered Son of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob died a sinless death in the place of you and me. He lived under the law of good and evil taught to us by the sons of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Jesus never choose evil and always choose good. He never violated the law of good and evil or the Old Jewish Law most people call the law of Moses. Jesus remained pure as unleavened bread and became a sacrifice like living bread to give life to all who have faith in His sinless sacrifice of His own human life, Jesus died on the cross and was raised the third day, the first day of the week. Jesus was and is the only human that has lived and never sinned and God was so pleased with His work of reconciliation, God gave Jesus a new agreement to mediate reconciliation with Himself the Creator of All for all of our ungodly ways. Do you believe that Jesus died and was raised three days later in order to make a way of reconciliation with God, a way of redemption, and a way of eternal salvation with our Creator? Yes or No?

2. We have hope and a way out of any temptation common to man (1 Cor 10:13)

a. As it is written: 1 Corinthians 10:13 - There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

3. We have the promise of the holy Spirit praying for us a way of salvation (Rom 8:26)

a. As it is written: Romans 8:26 - Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

As it is written: Rev 14:13, “13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. 16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. 17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. 18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. 19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.”

Conclusion:

We can overcome any form of evil, because we stand with the God of gods Jesus of Nazareth. I have been baptized into His life, death and resurrection and I have eternal life abiding in me thanks to His glorious work of redemption. To all those that know me I am a work in progress, I go to Jesus because I do not have it all figured out. I go to Jesus because I need help to live my life. I go to Jesus for comfort when the devil gets me down. We can overcome any form of temptation, after all…if you don't want what the devil or this world offers you then he will flee James 4:6.

No evil will enter into heaven, so be zealous for good works. If you hang around people doing good things then you will be more likely to do good things as well. Do you have a good work? In the parable of the talents Jesus said to feed, clothe the naked, visit the sick and imprisoned and to help strangers were the works his talents should be used for. Are you truly loving your neighbor as yourself? Remember love works no ill will towards its neighbor…

We believers have the hope and promise of never having to participate in evil or having to choose evil. Jesus promised us a light and easy yoke and rest for the soul. He is the captain and we just follow his lead through the darkness He is the light. Jesus of Nazareth is the author of salvation to all those that obey Him…Jesus Christ said these words… Mar 16:16 The one who believes and is baptized shall be saved, but the one who does not believe shall be condemned.

Father please free us from all forms of evil so we can learn the Truth and do what is right with You our Creator and Your only Son…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

Victory in Jesus…

Hear some instructions and encouragement from the New Testament of Christ which is the New Agreement between God and creation to be saved…

2Co 2:14 AFV But thanks be to God, Who always leads us triumphant in Christ, and manifests the fragrance of His knowledge through us in every place.

Php 4:13 AFV I can do all things through Christ, Who empowers me.

Php 4:19-20 AFV But my God will supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20 Now to our God and Father be glory into the ages of eternity. Amen.

Mat 5:6-9 AFV Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. 7 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall find mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God.

Eph 6:13-18 AFV Therefore, take up the whole armor of God so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having worked out all things, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girded about with truth, and wearing the breastplate of righteousness, 15 And having your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. 16 Besides all these, take up the shield of the faith, with which you will have the power to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one; 17 And put on the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God; 18 Praying at all times with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and in this very thing being watchful with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints;

Rev 21:1-8 AFV Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away, and there was no more sea. 2 And I, John, saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice from heaven say, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men; and He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His people; and God Himself shall be with them and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall not be any more death, or sorrow, or crying; neither shall there be any more pain, because the former things have passed away." 5 And He Who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." Then He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful." 6 And He said to me, "It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts, I will give freely of the fountain of the water of life. 7 The one who overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone; which is the second death."

Father thank you for all the victories You see in us…please heal our soul’s deepest wounds and forgive the unforgiven that we may learn the Truth and make things right with You…In Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

Victory in Jesus…

Devil’s Temptation of Jesus…

Mat 4:1-11 AFV Then Jesus was led up into the wilderness by the Spirit in order to be tempted by the devil. 2 And when He had fasted for forty days and forty nights, afterwards He was famished. 3 And when the tempter came to Him, he said, If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread. 4 But He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

Jesus was human…and was very hungry…each of these temptations has the lust of the eyes and flesh and the pride of life…notice Jesus had fasted…the devil appeals to Him to use His God given Authority for personal gain instead of waiting on God to feed Him…Also the appeal to see bread in a desert would be appealing to the eyes…and the flesh to eat and be satisfied. Jesus did not fall to this temptation.

5 Then the devil took Him to the holy city and set Him upon the edge of the temple, 6 And said to Him, If You are the Son of God, cast Yourself down; for it is written, He shall give His angels charge concerning You, and they shall bear You up in their hands, lest You strike Your foot against a stone. 7 Jesus said to him, Again, it is written, You shall not tempt the Lord your God.

Again all three lust of flesh…lust of eyes…and pride of life are present in this second temptation of the devil. The Authority to be on top of the temple and fly or have angel save Him…would have been like jumping into the fire then saying God keep from burning…He did not fall to the pride of life thinking Angels are supposed to protect me I can jump and be ok…Appealing to the flesh to be carried by angels and appealing to the eyes to something Holy in middle of a temptation…Jesus did not fall to this temptation.

8 After that, the devil took Him to an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, 9 And said to Him, All these things will I give You, if You will fall down and worship me. 10 Then Jesus said to him, Begone, Satan! For it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him alone shall you serve. 11 Then the devil left Him; and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.

Again the devil tempts the Lord our God with the pride of life (I am the only Son of God…) saying you do not have to die but I will make all these kingdoms do Your will if you serve me instead of Your Father…Appealing to the flesh not having to die…appealing to the eyes…seeing all the good or glory the kingdoms could do without Him dying….Jesus offered satan a fallen angel repentance and said worship the Lord your God and Him only serve…but satan did not repent…and Jesus did not fall to this temptation.

1Jn 2:15-17 AFV Do not love the world, nor the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him 16 Because everything that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pretentious pride of physical life—is not from the Father, but is from the world.

Father…please meet our soul’s deepest needs and lead us not into temptation in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
