How Jesus was required to Remember the Sabbath Day...

In the Ten Commandments...which was the minimum requirements Jesus (from the tribe of Judah not a priest from the tribe of Levi) to be sinless...The remember the Sabbath Day was a commandment which when obeyed left one ready to worship on the day God would receive worship from His people...The Jew when he remembered the Sabbath Day...would have kept the other 9 commandments so according to our English Roman Calendar would have been ready to worship on Saturday...instead of offering an animal sacrifice.

Here are the Ten commandments shortened for ease from Exodus chapter 20:

1. You will have no other gods before Me.

2. You will not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth

3. You will not take the name of the LORD your God in vain

4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

5. Honor your father and your mother

6. You will not kill.

7. You will not commit adultery.

8. You will not steal.

9. You will not bear false witness against your neighbor.

10. You will not covet

As a Jew if you had kept the other 9 commandments then you were in the worship assembly...not the sacrifice an animal line...so remember the Sabbath Day was a requirement so you would not have to offer a sinner's sacrifice...and would have been accepted in worship.

Jesus in talking to the Samaritan woman told her anyone could be accepted on any day If they were worshiping God in Spirit and Truth...As it is written...But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship Him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. (Joh 4:23-24)

After Jesus died and rose from the dead and the Apostles began the church on the Day of Pentecost...found recorded in the book of Acts chapter 2...this word from Jesus became in effect the replacement or the fulling of the remember the Sabbath Day so you could be accepted by God in worship.

Jesus as it is written in Mark 12:29-31 said...And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And you will love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, you will love your neighbor as yourself. There is none other commandment greater than these. (Mar 12:29-31)

As it is written...Jesus Christ said...If any man come to Me and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after Me, cannot be my disciple. (Luk 14:26-27)

So in our terms...when go to the worship assembly we call church...remember enter to worship and leave to serve.

Pray with me...

Father please help us keep ourselves in the truth and walk in the Spirit so we can always call on You and worship You anytime...please meet our soul's deepest needs and heal our sounds caused by accidents and sinful behavior...in Jesus of Nazareth's name amen.

Want to hear some good news…

John 6:35 Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.

Jesus of Nazareth…commonly called Jesus Christ was a human that died in your place…taking your punishment for any evil or wrong deeds the bible calls sin. Jesus Christ died on the cross and was raised from the dead so you could never choose a wrong thing again…and so all your wrong things could be forgiven…For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten…or Fathered Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him…

Matthew 6:30-34 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. 34 Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me…

Jesus reveals the Truth…then makes a way for us to do right by God and fellow man…that is the best a man can do…what is morally right by his neighbors and the Creator…the Great I Am of All that IS…

Matthew 25:29-30 For unto every one that hath…faithfulness…shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that has not…as in no faithfulness…even that which he hath shall be taken away. 30 And cast ye out the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.

If you do what is morally right when the truth is revealed to you then more Truth will be given you so you can grow and become a soul fit for eternal life with God…Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Father please reveal the truth of my sin to me so I can repent and reconcile with You…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

Are you deceived like Saul…

Acts 22:7-8 And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecute you me? 8 And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecute…

Matthew 7:15-20 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. 16 By their fruits ye shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but the corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits ye shall know them…

Ever hear a preacher say it is a blessing to follow Jesus…you will never hunger…you will never thirst…but give me some money? These are unfaithful preachers who interest lie in the doctrine of Balaam who is considered to be a prophet for hire not a servant to obey the Master…his error was corrected by the dumb ass…he wanted to receive from another’s table other than His God’s…for prophesying…his duty to His original Master…the God of gods…

2 Peter 2:1-3 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

Have a thus it is written vocabulary…call Bible things by Bible names…renounce any loyalty to man’s creed…have no creed but the New Testament of Christ…no Master but Jesus of Nazareth…let God be true and everyman a liar…we must change our ways to fit the truth revealed by Jesus…

Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by thy name, and by thy name cast out demons, and by thy name do many mighty works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity…

Many so called preachers are building churches and making money…instead of reaching lost souls…we supposed to keep God’s word above our own…let God be true and everyman a liar…in the parable of the talents or money…Jesus said the faithful fed Him…clothed Him…took Him in as a stranger…visited Him in prison and when sick…gave Him a drink…were rewarded as faithful…not preached great sermons or drawing a crowd…especially to profit by…or add debt too…building buildings..

John 6:35 Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.

Father, we renounce keeping of our word and any manmade agreement and ask we could accept only The New Testament of Christ and Jesus of Nazareth as our God, King, Lord, and Law…forever more in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
