When is Jesus coming…what can we do to help bring the end…?

But of that day or that hour knows no one, not even the angels in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take you heed, watch and pray: for you know not when the time is. It is as when a man, sojourning in another country, having left his house, and given authority to his servants, to each one his work, commanded also the porter to watch. Watch therefore: for ye know not when the lord of the house cometh, whether at even, or at midnight, or at cockcrowing, or in the morning; lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch...Mark 13:32-37.

And He (Jesus) cometh unto the disciples, and finds them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, What, could you not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray, that you enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak...Matthew 26:40-41.

And being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God cometh, He answered them and said, The kingdom of God comes not with observation: neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, There! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you. And He said unto the disciples, The days will come, when you shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and you shall not see it...Luke 17:20-22.

Peter said to Jesus, after he was told by Jesus... he would not deny Him, to watch and pray. We are told the same. We know not when Jesus is coming back in judgement and we are told to watch and pray. How many of us are asleep and not watching and praying? With the morality of the world around us we need to be watching and praying for God to usher in Judgement and Fear of Himself so the ungodly will begin to change and fear God. The kingdom of God does not come with observation but with watching and praying. Do you want to go to heaven…yes or no? I do and will be watching and praying to the best of my abilities hope you do the same.

Prayer

Father please cause the world to fear Your name and glorify the name of Your only Son Jesus please rain down punishment of the wicked and abominable who refuse to fear You so the simple and faithful can live in the fear of You without our morals being eroded away and fear of persecution…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

PUSH pray until something happens…

And he spoke a parable unto them to the end that they ought always to pray, and not to faint; saying, There was in a city a judge, who feared not God, and regarded not man: and there was a widow in that city; and she came oft unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; yet because this widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest she wear me out by her continual coming.

And the Lord said, Hear what the unrighteous judge saith. And shall not God avenge His elect, that cry to Him day and night, and yet He is longsuffering over them? I say unto you, that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?...Luke 18:1-8.

How many times do you pray about a personal concern…ever heard the phrase PUSH pray until something happens? Our Lord Jesus Christ only prayed three times for another way for all sinners to have a way of salvation. Paul when being buffeted by satan prayed three times till and answer came from Jesus. We are told to pray without ceasing and to give thanks for everything we go through. Do we pester God by praying the same thing when we could be praying for others or do we pray until we get an answer? Jesus told this parable so we would pray and not faint when we have a need. In the widow’s case it was injustice. What is your soul’s deepest needs…more important where does God need to grant us repentance so we can be free from evil and live in the truth without temptation or hardship?

Prayer

Father please meet our soul, spirit, and body’s deepest needs and heal us from our sin granting us repentance to overcome…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

Make your promises few but keep them faithfully…

Again, ye have heard that it was said to them of old time, You shalt not forswear yourself, but shalt perform unto the Lord your oaths: but I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by the heaven, for it is the throne of God; nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of his feet; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. Neither shalt you swear by your head, for you canst not make one hair white or black. But let your speech be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: and whatsoever is more than these is of the evil one...Matthew 5:33-37.

Ever made a promise you could not keep? I have. I try to keep all my promises without fail…but sometimes circumstances out do you and you become a liar. May God forgive me and you for any promises we have made that we cannot keep or which cannot be kept. Jesus said do not swear at all…that is a promise he is talking about or if God is involved then it is a vow. If You swear by God then you just have made a vow. Vows must be kept. Promises are between man and man. Vows are between God and man. For in many things we all stumble. If any stumbles not in word, the same is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also...James 3:2.

Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for edifying as the need may be, that it may give grace to them that hear...Ephesians 4:29. in all things showing yourself an ensample of good works; in your doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of us...Titus 2:7-8. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer each one...Colossians 4:6.

Prayer

Father forgive us for our broken promises to You and to others and meet our soul’s deepest needs…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
