It is always right to do right and wrong to do wrong…

Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled...Matthew 5:6. To the pure all things are pure: but to them that are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but both their mind and their conscience are defiled. They profess that they know God; but by their works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate...Titus 1:15-16. And the Lord's servant must not strive, but be gentle towards all, apt (willing and able) to teach, forbearing, in meekness correcting them that oppose themselves; if peradventure God may give them repentance unto the knowledge of the truth, and they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him unto his (the devil’s) will...2 Timothy 2:24-26.

Do you want to be right with God and fellow man…can you shake everyone’s hand and give Jesus a hug if you met them? Or you need to make some repairs to relationships. It is written…If therefore thou art offering thy gift at the altar, and there remember that thy brother hath aught (reason to accuse) against thee, leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way, first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift...Matthew 5:23-24. We are told to leave worship and make things right with someone we have done wrong. Then come and offer a sacrifice.

Being a Christian is not hard but sometimes we must do the hard thing like humble our pride and say I am sorry I was wrong for this and you are the better man for forgiving me. Look for the right opportunity or a favorable situation to make amends and so I am sorry so it will be a success. The person you offended has to forgive you…Jesus will forgive anyone but people sometimes do not.

Prayer

Father please forgive us of all our sins and help us to know how to approach those we have done wrong to find reconciliation and make amends…please grant us repentance and knowledge so we can make things right with them and You…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

One deed of repentance and the one thief on the cross was saved.

The scene of the cross…

And when they had crucified Him, they parted His garments among them, casting lots; and they sat and watched Him there. And they set up over His head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. Then are there crucified with Him two robbers, one on the right hand and one on the left. And they that passed by railed on Him, wagging their heads, and saying, you that destroys the temple, and builds it in three days, save Yourself: if You are the Son of God, come down from the cross. In like manner also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said, He saved others; Himself He cannot save. He is the King of Israel; let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe on Him. He trusts on God; let Him deliver Him now, if he desires Him: for He said, I am the Son of God. And the ROBBERS also that were crucified with Him cast upon him the same reproach...Matthew 27:35-44.

And the soldiers also mocked Him, coming to Him, offering him vinegar, and saying, If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself. And there was also a superscription over Him, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. And one of the malefactors that were hanged railed on Him, saying, Are not you the Christ? save Yourself and us. But the other answered, and rebuking Him said, Dost you not even fear God, seeing you are in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said, Jesus, remember me when you come in thy kingdom. And He said unto him, Verily I say unto you, To-day shalt you be with Me in Paradise...Luke 23:36-43.

What was Jesus of Nazareth’s message, when he was here on earth before He was delivered unto the death of the cross?

Mat 4:17, “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

It is written the robbers plural reproached Jesus…then one of them stopped the madness by repenting and speaking up and gained an entrance into Heaven through one death bed deed of repentance. Have you any deeds of repentance like the thief on the cross? One deed of repentance in faithful obedience to Jesus message repent for the kingdom of God is at hand saved a thief condemned to die.

Prayer

Father please grant us repentance where needed so we can change and be like You, please meet our soul’s deepest needs so we can overcome the temptations of today…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

Choice not chance determines your destiny...

Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate...Titus 1:15-16. Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him. Add you not unto His words, lest He reprove thee, and you be found a liar...Proverbs 30:5-6. The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. You shalt keep them, O LORD, You shalt preserve them from this generation forever. The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted...Psalms 12:6-8.

Have you heard of Nadab and Abihu…

These were priests of God…they offered their own version of what God said and were killed for adding to God’s words. They said it does not say we cannot, but when God specifies, He excludes all other forms…And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which He commanded them not. And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD...Leviticus 10:1-2. These priests offered their own version of offering and were killed for it because it was strange fire instead of the fire God specified. Let us not stray from the specifics of God’s word but adhere to it perfectly in obedience to the truth from God.

Prayer

Creator we renounce any form of strange fire before You…please give us a sound mind so we can understand and remember your word…so we can obey the truth without hesitation and be in Your will not outside of it…grant to us that we add not nor take away from Your words, but speak and obey what is written…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
