Do not forget to watch and pray…

And being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God cometh, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, There! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you...Luke 17:20-21. But of that day or that hour knows no one, not even the angels in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. It is as when a man, sojourning in another country, having left his house, and given authority to his servants, to each one his work, commanded also the porter to watch. Watch therefore: for ye know not when the lord of the house cometh, whether at even, or at midnight, or at cockcrowing, or in the morning; lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch...Mark 13:32-37. pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus to you-ward...1 Thessalonians 5:17-18.

Jesus taught to watch and pray…what are we watching for His coming and the things we can do to facilitate His coming by making ourselves ready and prepared for the end to come. When you read John’s Revelation which church do you fall into? Jesus said the kingdom is given to us and we are to do our jobs or fulfill our plan and purpose. Like a business man that gives authority to those He left in charge…to fulfill their purpose. We cannot lose our purpose of preserving the faithful and making disciples or we will be found wanting like the virgins with no oil. Do you expect Jesus final coming to be in your life or are you like those who scoff saying He has already came?

Jesus died on the cross and was raised from the dead so we could be forgiven and choose right over wrong. You know there is really only one repentance…once you change and repent you will always be living out this change in life deeds. Jesus wants us to be righteous and not sinful but will teach and guide us to be righteous as we continue in becoming like Him. Do you want rest for your soul…then listen to what Jesus said… Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light...Matthew 11:28-30. Jesus will come into your life with the truth but our parts is to practice the truth He reveals to us. Do you agree to read the New Testament of Christ in order to learn Jesus teachings revealed to us through the Apostles and the Holy Spirit who spoke through chosen men…yes or no? If you do you find rest for a weary soul.

Prayer

Father please meet our soul’s deepest needs and heal our soul’s deepest wounds…please grant us repentance from sin and satan we renounce any other please send Jesus, in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

It is always right to do right and wrong to do wrong…

Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled...Matthew 5:6. To the pure all things are pure: but to them that are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but both their mind and their conscience are defiled. They profess that they know God; but by their works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate...Titus 1:15-16. And the Lord's servant must not strive, but be gentle towards all, apt (willing and able) to teach, forbearing, in meekness correcting them that oppose themselves; if peradventure God may give them repentance unto the knowledge of the truth, and they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him unto his (the devil’s) will...2 Timothy 2:24-26.

Do you want to be right with God and fellow man…can you shake everyone’s hand and give Jesus a hug if you met them? Or you need to make some repairs to relationships. It is written…If therefore thou art offering thy gift at the altar, and there remember that thy brother hath aught (reason to accuse) against thee, leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way, first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift...Matthew 5:23-24. We are told to leave worship and make things right with someone we have done wrong. Then come and offer a sacrifice.

Being a Christian is not hard but sometimes we must do the hard thing like humble our pride and say I am sorry I was wrong for this and you are the better man for forgiving me. Look for the right opportunity or a favorable situation to make amends and so I am sorry so it will be a success. The person you offended has to forgive you…Jesus will forgive anyone but people sometimes do not.

Prayer

Father please forgive us of all our sins and help us to know how to approach those we have done wrong to find reconciliation and make amends…please grant us repentance and knowledge so we can make things right with them and You…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

One deed of repentance and the one thief on the cross was saved.

The scene of the cross…

And when they had crucified Him, they parted His garments among them, casting lots; and they sat and watched Him there. And they set up over His head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. Then are there crucified with Him two robbers, one on the right hand and one on the left. And they that passed by railed on Him, wagging their heads, and saying, you that destroys the temple, and builds it in three days, save Yourself: if You are the Son of God, come down from the cross. In like manner also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said, He saved others; Himself He cannot save. He is the King of Israel; let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe on Him. He trusts on God; let Him deliver Him now, if he desires Him: for He said, I am the Son of God. And the ROBBERS also that were crucified with Him cast upon him the same reproach...Matthew 27:35-44.

And the soldiers also mocked Him, coming to Him, offering him vinegar, and saying, If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself. And there was also a superscription over Him, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. And one of the malefactors that were hanged railed on Him, saying, Are not you the Christ? save Yourself and us. But the other answered, and rebuking Him said, Dost you not even fear God, seeing you are in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said, Jesus, remember me when you come in thy kingdom. And He said unto him, Verily I say unto you, To-day shalt you be with Me in Paradise...Luke 23:36-43.

What was Jesus of Nazareth’s message, when he was here on earth before He was delivered unto the death of the cross?

Mat 4:17, “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

It is written the robbers plural reproached Jesus…then one of them stopped the madness by repenting and speaking up and gained an entrance into Heaven through one death bed deed of repentance. Have you any deeds of repentance like the thief on the cross? One deed of repentance in faithful obedience to Jesus message repent for the kingdom of God is at hand saved a thief condemned to die.

Prayer

Father please grant us repentance where needed so we can change and be like You, please meet our soul’s deepest needs so we can overcome the temptations of today…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
